I first met Everett about five years ago when he was working as a gunsmith at a range facility in Northern Virginia. At the time I was hesitant — there are dozens of self-described gunsmiths in the area — but a few conversations made clear Everett was anything but "just a gunsmith." With over 35 years around weapons and shooting, including a career in law enforcement as a firearms and tactical instructor, I don't say this lightly: talking to him felt like talking to someone with a doctorate in his field. I commissioned him to build me a 1,000-yard rifle around a .308 Remington 700 action. It took months — he's as particular as I am — but what I got back exceeded every expectation, shooting tighter groups on factory ammo than any "precision" gun I'd owned before. No one touches my rifles but Everett now.

I've had the wonderful experience of having Everett work on a few of my firearms and couldn't be happier with the results. Most recently he reworked a Mossberg 930 shotgun into an excellent 3-gun competition setup — I used it for the first time at a match last weekend and it handled and shot incredibly. I look forward to working with him again and can't recommend him enough.

The rifle has exceeded my expectations, and one day it will exceed my son's too.
